We're moving toward a move- sing it with me--

Come listen to my story ‘bout a man name Rod
Goin’ to make a new home and getting a new job
Said, Ari-zona is the place we’re gonna’ be
So they loaded up the truck and moved to hot country

Swimmin’ pools, Fam-i-ly and cactus as far as the eye can see~
Banjo, banjo, banjo

Leaving the Pacific North West (which has been the coldest weather not only in the country but in the world)
Seattle and Portland are both forecast to receive above-normal rainfall with a cool, unsettled weather pattern lingering during this spring in the Pacific Northwest . "Mountain snow will linger in the Northwest” "It will be a slow recovery on temperatures late in spring into the summer"
We're moving to sunny (read hotter than what you would consider hot) Arizona .
My cousin once described Arizona : "It’s as though you are standing behind a running bus, no matter WHERE you stand!!!"
Rod has never lived in any other state but Washington .
Lisa is a fog baby.
This should be fun!~!~!

  1. I'm glad he got a job. I hope it's a good one!
We lived in Phx for 8 years. Eight summers. It was quite an experience.
    Great mexican food. Great hotels/resorts.
And the winters are great--they are the reward for the survivors of summer.
Oh and the Mesa Temple is heavenly. It's my favorite place of all. Good Luck! Life is an adventure!

  3. Well finally you'll get to be with your grandchildren. I'm so happy for you. And what do they say, "It's a dry heat." I have a cousin who moved to Arizona several years ago and she loves it. Lou has a friend who is retiring there...just waiting for their house to be finished being built. AZ must be the new FL.

PS. The Church is pretty great there, I hear. Lots of people and nice, big wards...
