update on family.. and a head question

First of all, I wanted to give (show) you an update of Grandma Kathrine:
91 1/2 and getting stronger
We visited her, along with family and had such a nice time.  To see a smile on her face and the fact that she has gained weight, is eating all her food AND they even get her to play BINGO!
pretty amazing after all she's been through!

So my question of the day is:
how do YOU control a headache!!!
are drugs best? one type?  caffeine? what's the cocktail of choice?
I'm not talking migraine here (that's a horse of a different color)

Oh my Lisa, your grandmother looks great and so does the two of you. To answer your question, I seldom get headaches unless I'm dehydrated. Then I drink lots of water. Usually I'll take an Advil for just a plain headache.

That's wonderful! You must be so happy to see her improving like that.

As for headaches, I'm not very prone to them. And when I do get them, extra strength Tylenol does the trick for me.

My son gets them a lot, and he likes Excedrin Migraine. My husband, who gets actual migraines, takes cafergot.

That is wonderful that she is doing so well - especially at her age!

Headaches??? I think my daily Coke keeps them away (wink). :-D

Yay for her regaining the strength!

Ibuprofen is my drug of choice for headaches. Of course more caffeine is the only antidote to a caffeine headache.

Hi honey
Love that you shared pictures of your Grandma. Glad to hear that she is getting stronger. Amazing she is 91 does not look it in these pic's.
Sorry I don't have a remedy for headaches. If I feel one coming on I lay down with a cold rag on my forehead and pray.
Happy Valentines Day
