I do not like my blog to go on and on and on. (get to the point will ya)
I read the blog of a witty witty woman, a real writer, (unlike me who uses the adj witty twice to get my point across!!) She is a total Seattle woman (do you know what I mean?), with a recent college grad daughter and high school senior son.
Her blog can sometimes be a little off color but always true to Mrs. G’s nature. Her ideas and writing are addictive. I miss her when she stops, which she does frequently (she had a little run in from her home school group on Pioneer Woman)--but I digress.
She posted a questioner that I thought was quite enlightening... Enter my bullet points..
This is a little longer post of questions than I normally like, but each question is intriguing.

12) What is your favorite musical? Where do I start.. love them all from Music Man to A Chorus Line to Wicked. A better question would be which ones are not my favorite: Sweeney Todd, Tommy, MaMaMia-yuck
13) What is something you used to think before you knew better? Dream Big
1) Jim Carrey..he is LAME and soo not funny
2) I can't remember anything as a young child. I make fun of my brothers for not paying for their phone like I did.
3) Family members..but right now my mom is here with me! :) I will miss Brian when I go to arkansas :(
4) Yes, I need more patience. CLAIRE!! STOP GRABBING YOUR BROTHER!
5) I cried in Anne of Green Gables..I cry at the drop of a hat though.
6) On my knee from when I fell running inside when the tornado sirens were going off in Ohio.
7) A 92 white Honda hatchback. We called it an egg
8) I can plunk things out on a piano.
9) Can't think of one.
10) Neither. I can't stand them.
11) A ton. Why can I remember the words to random songs from YEARS ago and can't remember where my keys are?
12) I LOVE musicals!! Les Mis, Suessical, the Music Man, 7 Brides..could go on and on

5) What is the last book that made you cry? Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.
6) Do you have a scar? Yep. Biggest one is from my hysterectomy.
7) What was your first car? An Austin America (I know...nobody's heard of it.)
8) Can you play an instrument? I can pick notes out on a piano and a violin but can't really play either.

1) The girl who plays Bella in the Twilight series--- kristen something? :( such a poor casting choice.
2) I have no idea... I pretty much spent my money on little silly things... Kieri was the saver! (oh yeah and I was spoiled so that helped too... :) )

1) Sean Connery...he's so full of himself, and thinks all women should be smacked around! Ugh!
2) Socks....cuz I was always blowing all my $ on candy, so socks made me feel like I was all grown up, at 8!
3) My 85 yr old quilter friend in Massachusetts...I need to visit her!
4) My weight and my eating habits....both are bad bad bad!
5) Message in a Bottle...I was a blubbering idiot!
6) Two carpal tunnel surgery scars....now my hands are great! Yay!
7) 68? Ford Torino, my best friend in high school and I bought it together, from her aunt for $150 back in '78! Then my dad found out, and I was in real trouble! But I loved that car!
8) Violin, French horn, and drums, all in school, haven't touched them since! Bad, I should have kept with them!
9) No secrets, cuz it's just hubby and me!
10) I've never watched either.
11) Sorry hun.....I can name that tune in 3 notes!!!
12) Love all musicals, know all the songs, sing them in the shower, used to re-enact Cinderella (with Leslie Anne Warren) with my friend in 4th grade! Loved that!
13) I used to think that a big salary was more important than actually enjoying what I was doing! HA!
