sisters

I gave birth to 2 girls, sisters. they love each other.
Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there. ~Amy Li
She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink. Some days, she's the reason you wish you were an only child.
~Barbara Alpert
My mother was so excited when she gave birth to two girls. She never had a sister and always wanted one and was so excited for her two girls to be SISTERS. My sister was my best friend. Even with 7 years difference between us we were always best friends and loved doing things together. She died in 1998 -at age 34- of breast cancer. Today is her birthday. I can't wait to see her again. I wrote about it in detail last year here

Now that I have married Mr. Produce, I have 3 more 'sisters". I am SO lucky! THEY ARE WONDERFUL WOMEN that I look up to, and have fun with!

I have three sisters, and I couldn't agree with you more! Even though we live miles away from each other, I know they will ALWAYS be my closest friends and confidants!

Thanks for the reminder! These pictures, by the way, are ADORABLE!! Cheers!

What a wonderful tribute to the sisters in your life. I am blessed to have my sister, ten years older, who is my best, closest friend as well. I also have a close friend wh is as dear as a sister. We are truly blessed to have these women in our lives.

I have three sisters too, and they mean everything to me. I'm sad to think that you lost yours at such an early age, but I'm really happy that you were blessed with three more...and that you enjoy them so much.

I also loved Kieri's comment.
