Invasion Of The Fruit Flys
At work we were bombarded with an avalanche of Fruit Flys.
I remember what my friend Emily did... and viola! I made a couple of wonder fruit fly traps
You need a 'flavored' vinegar, I used Red Wine Vinegar, you could also use balsamic vinegar
and just a little squirt of honey too...
I even caught the flies in the warehouse kitchen.
All in all in a two day period our fly problem was gone! Who knew I was so clever!

What I do that works like a charm is put some wine in a little dish - cover with plastic wrap - poke 3 holes in it and whammo! Those fruit flies drown baby drown.

Wow! I haven't thought about fruit flies in years.
I remember when I was about 16 (and I grew up in N. California) there was a massive fruit fly invasion and they were spraying at night 2 or 3 times a week during the summer for those darn flies. Crazy!
Aren't they awful when they get in the house? I remember Emily's cure, too!
