She was born Katherine Josephine Orcutt. She had a twin brother Kenneth. (there were many children in her family, some from her mother’s previous marriage) I think there were 8 all together!

She is a go getter and up until a couple years ago (ok about age 83) she was still roto-tilling the garden! She is a fantastic cook and certainly knows the value of a dollar and how to stretch it!
