There are always surprises in the yard

As I am watering the back yard, I see strange seedlings in my small hydrangea pot? what?????
Then there are the same strange little seedlings in my recently re potted tree (seedlings that are being eaten by something)
WAIT.. there are more of these seedlings in the ground by the fence... and I know that they are sunflower seedlings... but I didn't plant these????
OR these in this pot! ! !
What is going on!!!
ohhhhhh I know.... sneaky chipmunk has been hanging around the neighborhood, and after talking to my neighbor, she confirmed that the chipmunk has been visiting ANOTHER neighbors bird feeder... so I brilliantly put 2 and 2 together and am now getting SUNFLOWERS!!! although if they are to survive I will have to re plant them somewhere else!
and for some lovely TMI (don't SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED)
We made the 3 hour drive to see Mr. Produce's mother again. She is exactly 90 and one month! I didn't think she could be more frail, but she is. She was happy to see us but after 20 minutes started saying good-by because she was tired.
AND in other related TMI news, I got very sick on the way home, guess it must be food poison because... well you all know how food poison effects you, and boy did it effect me!!!! All afternoon AND night.

Hope you are feeling better. That kind of not feeling well is no fun. You are going to have lots of sunflowers if they have time to grow before autumn. Hugs
